What number is causing the argument?
Email, form or a 30-minute call. All three reach the same person. No qualification funnel, no discovery process, no deck: we will tell you what usually causes the problem and whether it is worth paying to fix.
Email is the reliable route right now
The form on this deployment is not connected to an inbox yet, so we are not going to pretend a submitted message would arrive. Email us directly, or use the address below and we will reply within one working day.
hello@insightcrafter.comInclude which number disagrees, what you have already tried, and what a good outcome would look like. No confidential detail needed yet.
Direct
What happens after you send that
- 01Within one working dayYou get a reply, usually with two or three questions about the number or process that is causing the problem.
- 02The 30-minute callWe trace the problem to its likely cause. Often this ends with "you do not need us for this", and you still leave with the definition sheet.
- 03If we both want to proceedWe write the scope, then the fixed price against it. You get both within two working days of the call, and you are not asked to sign anything on the call itself.
Before you write
Useful, if you have them: which systems hold the data, who owns the number today, and what you have already tried. Not required. A description of the symptom is enough to start.
Already know which service fits? How we quote explains what decides the number, and the work samples show what the output looks like.
Eight questions, answered properly
Including the awkward ones about price, data residency and whether any of this is real.
How do you price the work?
Client by client, after scoping. Two companies can ask for the same dashboard and need a week apart in effort, so a published price list would either be wrong or would push us to cut corners to protect it. What you get instead: a written scope with deliverables, dates and assumptions, then a fixed quote against that scope within two working days. The number does not move unless you change the scope.
How is this different from hiring a data analyst?
A hire costs 12 to 18 months of salary before they know your business, and they leave with the context. We are useful when you need one specific thing built properly: a metric layer, a warehouse, a compliant reporting setup, an AI workflow that survives production. If what you actually need is a permanent analyst, we will say so, and we do run fractional retainers when that fits better.
We have Power BI already. What is missing?
Usually the semantic model. Reports inherit whatever definitions were available when they were built, so the same metric drifts across pages. We harden the model, add descriptions and hierarchies, and put a verified-answer set in place, which is also the prerequisite for Copilot giving correct answers rather than confident wrong ones.
What happens if an AI project does not work?
Every AI engagement starts with a short fixed-scope readiness step that ends in a decision rather than a commitment. Nothing is billed for a phase that does not meet its written exit criterion, and if a pilot cannot beat the process it is meant to replace on your own data, you do not buy the build. We put that in writing, including when the honest answer is not to build it at all.
Where does our data go?
Into your environment, under your keys. We default to deployment in your own cloud tenancy in an EU region, and to in-tenant model endpoints where the use case allows it. Patient or personal data is pseudonymised before it reaches a model, access control is inherited rather than re-implemented, and your inputs are never used to train a shared model. We sign a DPA and can work under your security review process.
Do you work with our existing tools or push your own stack?
We work in whatever you can operate after we leave. The default set is Snowflake or Fabric, dbt, Power BI or Looker, and Python, but we have shipped on BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks and Qlik. The tool choice is a decision in Gate 01 with the trade-offs written down. Anything you cannot maintain without us is the wrong answer.
How fast can you start?
One new engagement starts at a time, plus one in delivery. There is usually a two to four week wait for a start date, and a metric audit can sometimes begin within ten days. If your deadline is inside that window, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit or point you at someone who is.
Are the work samples on this site real client engagements?
They are illustrative. Each one is a composite built from our method and representative benchmarks for the sector, labelled as such on the page, with sample sizes printed next to the numbers that depend on them. Real, anonymised engagements can be walked through on a call under NDA: the numbers, the stack, and what did not work.
